The Work I Return To
ROOMS: The Book
I’ve been building a lot behind the scenes lately. Not just taking photos, but building a studio, a system, and in some ways, a new way of working.
The Soft Lab started as an idea to give structure to all the different creative things I was doing. But the more I worked on it, the more I realized it wasn’t pulling me away from photography. It was actually bringing me back to it. With more clarity. More intention. More softness.
Looking back at Rooms: The Book, I can see it now. That’s the kind of work I want to return to. Honest, quiet, grounded in presence. The kind of work that doesn’t try to sell you something. It just sits with you.
This isn’t some huge rebrand or reinvention.
It’s just me, doing the work I care about with a sharper lens and a softer touch.
The Lab gave me space to find that again.
This is where I return to it.
